If you came here . . .

First à  We visit Larios Street.  This street is very famous in my capital.  It has many shops and you can eat in Macdonald’s.  In your capital is there a Macdonald’s?  And we can go to the beach because is near.  At night, we go out with my friends.  We can make a big party for you.

The second day à  We go to my village.  We climb the mountain.  We can see the saint, it is a special monument in my village.  When we climb the mountain we can see a beautiful landscape.  And at night we can go to the cinema and then go to the disco Sala O’clock (it is very famous).

The third day à  we can go to the beach all day and then we can make another party for say goodbye.

Hi Rodrigo!

How are you?  I’m fine and very surpise because I’ve changed my penfriend, for this manner I can meet with another new people but it has got a problem that I must to start new.  I’m María Monterroso.  I’m fourteen year old and I live in a small town called Pizarra in Málaga.  In my free time I like to read, go shopping surf the Internet and go out with all my friends.  Pizarra is an interesting town and Málaga is a beautiful city.  I’d like to invite you to come to Málaga.  You could come here in fair because the fair in Málaga is very funny.  It’s in August and her it’s summer.  You can stay in my house.  This can be our tour:

First day:  We can meet with my friends and we can go to the beach.  My friends are very funny and we can eat lunch in a refreshment stall.  At night, we can eat in Pizarra with them.

Second day:  We pass this day in Málaga with my famly.  We can go for a walk in Lario’s Street.  This street is very particular because here there are many “human statues.”   They are very nice!  J  Also, there are many shops and we can go shopping.  We can have dinner in a typical restaurant in Málaga.  In it we can eat “tapas” and the typical food, for example fried fish or you can try the famous Iberian ham.

Third day:  I can show you Pizarra, but it it small and in the afternoon we can go to a famous zoo in Fuengirola.  My father is a veterinarian and I love animals.

I would be pleased if you could come here.  What would you like to visit in Málaga?  And in Spain?  I wait your answers in the next letter.

Your penpal,

María

P.S.  I send you some photos about Málaga!

Hi Augs!

How are you?  How have gone your holidays?  Uff . . . I have been studying hard because it’s my last year in my high school.

If you go to Málaga for three days, we must:

First Day:  We will take the train to go to Málaga.  We will pass the weekend with my friends.  We have a duplex in Málaga.  We are nine girls and twelve boys.  Maybe we will have breakfast in a luxury milk-bar called “Lepanto.”  We will walk along the streets and alleys.  We will have lunch in McDonalds.  Haha.  We can see the cathedral, the viewing point of Gibralfaro, the Picasso Museum, eat a handcrafted delicious ice-cream and then we will go shopping.  At night, we will go to the centre of Málaga to drink something and later go to the Moliere’s Room.

Second Day:  We may have hangover, haha, so we will go to Dunkin’ Coffee to have breakfast.  We might walk in the Huelin maritime walk and see the stalls selling bracelets, necklaces . . . We’ll have lunch in a refreshment stall.  We’ll swim at the beach, play and take a gilded color in the skin.  We will fix up and become pretty.  We must see Málaga’s bullring to see my friend fight.  At night, we’ll go to a terrace where we drink something and pass a good time with people.

Third Day:  We will go to Pizarra and have a picnic in the Icona, that’s a kind of forest that is in the village.  We may go to the saint and pass all the day.

Hi Miss Uruguay!

How are you?  Me, I’m very happy reading your letter.  If you were 3 days in Málaga, Spain, we would do some things . . .

1st Day:  In the morning, we would climb up the Saint’s Mountain in my town (Pizarra), and then we could eat in a Chinese Restaurant that is near.  In the afternoon we would go to Málaga City and there there is a great CD shop called FNAC that I love!  In FNAC, you can find whatever CD you want (including LPs, books, films and two or three t-shirts).

2nd Day:  Near 11:00am, we could walk in Lario’s Street (it’s the most interesting street of Málaga, because it has many shops and “street artists”).  In Lario’s we could buy a pair of rock t-shirts in the shop “Tita Lo Lo.”  Later, we would get the bus and eat in the best pizza restaurant of the world:  “La Piccolina.”  In their walls, you can see “The Botticelli’s Venus,” a very important creation of Italy.  At night, it’s enough to go to Vialia (a shopping center) and see a good film in the cinema (not horror, please).

3rd Day:  We must have been completely tired, so in the morning we would stay at my house (alone) and cook a lot of “delicious” things.  J  But in the afternook, I would show you “La Viborilla,” a great restaurant near the beach.  After eating there, we would go to the beach (at night) and tell stories.

Well, this is my letter, and I hope you like it as I like yours.

Write soon (Peace and Love),

Luna
